Introduction

Energy Sistem® thanks you for buying your new Tower 5, we wish you to enjoy it.

Awaken your senses with this 2.1 sound tower. Connect your Bluetooth devices easily and enjoy the sound system's 60W RMS. It also features an FM Radio, USB port and a SD/SDHC card reader.

We suggest you read this user manual in order to take the most advange from your product, on a safely way and with the best performance.

Care and maintenance

Do not expose your Tower 5 to impacts dust or even high temperatures.
Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning products.
Keep the device clean and without dust.
Do not disassemble the device. Any repair should be done by the qualified staff of Energy Sistem Soyntec S.A.
Keep your Tower 5 for form water or humidity, that one can be harmful for both speakers or for the amplifier.
Make sure that your Tower 5 is off while you are not using it.

Back view

In the rear of the tower you will find the main switch of your Tower 3; as well as two controls for high/medium and low frequencies (indicated as Treble and Bass).

General functions

Tower 5 is an integrated music player with Bluetooth® technology. You can play your song through USB/SD external memories as well, you can enjoy the FM radio and the Line-in inputs to connect you MP3 player, mobile phone and other audio devices.

In order to select different functions, press (5). This will help you to select between the available functions of the connecting devices.

If you have nothing connected to the USB and SD / MMC inputs, mode (5) button commute between FM Radio, Bluetooth and Line-in (Aux) mode. When you connect any device on any of the connections, Tower 5 automatically switch to that function.

If you have connected any or all entries, the mode button (5) commute between all available.

Power switch. Stand by mode.

First, connect your Tower 5 to power supply and put the rear switch in "ON" position. Thereafter, you can turn on and off from the "PLAY" button on the top panel, keeping it pressed for 2 seconds (stand-by mode).

We recommend that when the tower is not in use for a long period of time, put "OFF" the rear switch.

Display

The Tower 5 is equipped with a backlit display hidden on the top of device.

When device is turned on, you can see Energy Sistem TM logo at he top of the panel.

In addition, you can see the display with the actual mode and more information in the front of the top panel.

Touch control

The Tower 5 has a touch in the top panel by which you can control all functions easily.
For a correct response of touch control, you should press it with the fingertip and hold for about 1 second.

Bluetooth function

When you start the Tower 5 you can see "bt" in the screen.
After that moment you can paitr it with your Bluetooth audio device (tablet, smartphone, PC, MAC, etc).

You can view the Tower 5 as "Tower 3" in your Bluetooth device. Then select and pair it.

When the pairing is done you can start to play your favourite songs without cables. If you want to change your paired Bluetooth device, turn off the Bluetooth function from your audio device or put for 2 second the (4) button. Then you can search and pair with other Bluetooth audio device.

The Tower 5 is provided with the Bluetooth profiles A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) that lets you listen to stereo music and the AVRCP (Audio Video Remote Control Profile) by which you can control the music from the top panel or from Remote Control.

MP3 function with external memories

In order to play MP3 files, insert an external memory such as a USB stick or a SD/MMC memory card in the corresponding slots, (13) and (11) respectively.

If you switch off the Tower 5 or remove the external memory of your device, when you insert again the same external memory, the lecture will continue at the same instant that you ended previously.

To go forward another track, use next (12) and back (2) buttons. This will go directly to next or previous track. You can change the folder by () button.

Playback order

The folders included in the memories are read in writing chronological order and all songs contained in these folders are read in alphabetical order.

For example: if after copying two folders of music called A and B, we can copy first folder B and later folder A, so the first played song will be first song in alphabetical order of B folder.

FM Radio

Before using radio function, firstly you have to search the available radio channels and will save them for visualising them later.It is not necessary to repeat this search unless change of location of modification of the radio stations signal.

To search radio channel, press and keep pressing the play/pause button (5) during 3 seconds. This will save all stations founded in the internal memory of the device. This process may take a few minutes.

In order to select between different stations, you just have to press the forward button (12) or backward button (2). Stations will appear at the same order as they were saved.

If you want to do a manual adjust or searching, just keep pressed the forward button (12) or backward button (2) and find the radio station that you want.

Line in

To use the line-in function, connect the audio cable in the line-in port (10) by one side (you can see Aux in the display), and connect the other side to another audio device like MP3 player, smartphone, tablet, etc.

Equalizer sound.

The Tower 5 has two controllers at the rear by which you can equalize sound.

Treble EQ.
Bass EQ.

You can also select 1 of the 5 preset equalizers, by pressing the (EQ) remote control key:

EQ 0: Normal.
EQ 1: Pop.
EQ 2: Rock.
EQ 3: Jazz.
EQ 4: Classic.
Device Charging

The Tower 5 has a "DC OUT" by which you can connect a USB cable to charge another device like a smartphone or tablet while you are using it as a player.

Output Specifications "DC OUT":

Voltage = 5V

Current = 2A

Any device that requires a voltage above 5V can not be charged.

Note: To prevent interference to the radio while charging devices, keep the FM antenna separate charging cable.

Remote control

With the Remote Control you can select all possibilities that Tower 5 offers you:

Turn ON/OFF.
Select your mode (USB, SD, Line-in, Radio FM, Bluetooth®) through the SOURCE button.
Mute function (not available in Bluetooth mode).
Loudness control, Play and Pause, forward and backward songs or FM channels (in all modes).
Equalization presets for USB and SD modes.
- EQ 0: Normal.
- EQ 1: Pop.
- EQ 2: Rock.
- EQ 3: Jazz.
- EQ 4: Classic.

Warranty

Energy Sistem Soyntec SA is liable for any lack of conformity which exists at the time the goods were purchased during a period of 36 months. Batteries are excluded from the 36-month warranty, having a warranty period of 12 months.

This warranty covers any defects in workmanship or materials. This warranty does not cover any failure of the product due to accidents, misuse or alteration made by an unauthorized person.

The special 36-months warranty is valid for the European Union. For other countries, please refer to your specific legislation or your local distributor.
