  • Tower sound system with Bluetooth® wireless connection and 60 W RMS output power. Listen your favourite songs through USB host and SD cards, tune the FM radio. With alarm clock function.

  • Before you start using your smartphone we recommend you to read this manual and familiarize yourself with it. It only takes a couple of minutes and it will help you to enjoy your device with maximum performance.

Care and maintenance

  • Do not expose your Box CT1 Bluetooth to impacts, dust, direct sunlight, humidity or high temperatures.

  • Do not use corrosive nor abrasive cleaning products.

  • Keep the speaker clean and dust free, use for this a soft dry cloth.

  • Do not disassemble the device. All reparation should be done exclusively Energy Sistem Technology, S.A. qualified staff.

General functions

The Tower CT1 Bluetooth is a tower speaker with which you can play your music using the Bluetooth technology, external memories (USB or SD cards), the Audio-in input and you can also enjoy the FM radio. Easy sync with tablets, smartphones, laptops, Mac, PC and any other device with Bluetooth®.

In order to select different functions, press FUNCTION CHANGE button (11). to see the selected function. If you have nothing connected to the USB and SD inputs, the FUNCTION CHANGE button (11) will change between FM Radio, Bluetooth and Audio-in (AUX).

When you connect any device on any of the connections, the Tower CT1 Bluetooth will automatically switch to that function. If you have connected any or all inputs, the FUNCTION CHANGE button (11) will change between all the available functions.

Turn On / Off Standby mode

When connecting the tower to the power outlet, turn your Tower CT1 Bluetooth on using the switch located in the rear part of the tower. Then you will be able to switch it on and off using the ON/OFF button (11) on the top display by pressing it for 2 seconds.

If you are not using the tower for a long period of time, in addition to switching it off in the top display, we recommend switching it "OFF" also in the rear panel.

Display

The Tower CT1 Bluetooth is equipped with a backlit display hidden on the top of device.
When the device is turned on, you can see the Energy Sistem logo illuminated at the top of the panel. In addition, you can see the display with the current mode.

Bluetooth pairing

Press the FUNCTION CHANGE (11) button to select the Bluetooth mode, then you will see "bt" in the display.

In that moment you can pair it with your Bluetooth device. When you see the name "Tower" in your Bluetooth device, just select connect and a few seconds the connection will be done.

When the pairing is done you can start to play your music without cables. The tower will always pair automatically with that device. If you want to change your paired Bluetooth® device, press the PLAY/PAUSE button for 2 seconds to start a new search.

In addition, the Tower CT1 Bluetooth is provided with the Bluetooth profiles A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) that lets you listen to stereo music and the AVRCP (Audio Video Remote Control Profile) by which you can control the music from the top panel or from remote control.

SD and USB playback

In order to play MP3 files, insert an external memory such as a USB stick or a SD memory card in the corresponding slots, (1) and (2) respectively.

In that moment the Tower CT1 Bluetooth will automatically play from the inserted memory.
"USB or "SD" will be displayed depending on the memory type.

If you switch off the Tower CT1 Bluetooth or remove the external memory of your device.

When you insert again the same external memory, the lecture will continue at the same instant that you ended previously.
To go forward or backward a song keep the NEXT (7) or PREVIOUS (9) pressed. To change the folder press the FOLDER CHANGE (11) button.

Playback mode

By pressing the RPT button in the remote control, you can choose one of these 3 options:
1) ALL: All the content repeats.

The folders contained in the external memories are read in writing chronological order and all songs contained in these folders are read in alphabetical order.

For example: if after copying two folders of music called 'A' and 'B', we can copy first folder 'B' and later folder 'A', so the first played song will be first song in alphabetical order of 'B' folder.
Here you have a diagram of the reading order:

1) FOLD: The folder you are listening repeats.

2) ONE: The song you are listening repeats.

3) RAND: Random play back of all the content.

FM Radio

Before using radio function, firstly you have to search the available radio channels and will save them for visualising them later. It is not necessary to repeat this search unless change of location of modification of the radio stations' signal.

To search radio channel, press and keep pressing FOLDER button (10) when the device is in Radio FM mode.

This will save all stations founded in the internal memory of the device. This process may take a few minutes.

In order to select between different stations, you just have to press the forward button (7) or backward button (9). Stations will appear at the same order as they were saved. To change the radio station keep the NEXT (7) or PREVIOUS (9) pressed.

Line-in

To use the Line-in function, connect the audio cable in the LINE-IN PORT () by one side, and connect the other side to another audio device like MP3 player, smartphone, tablet, etc. At the time that the cable is connected to the Line-in input (), the "Line-in" mode is automatically activated and you will see "AUX" on the display.

In playback mode "Line-in", the Tower CT1 Bluetooth is on speaker mode, so that what is played on the audio device (external player) or modifications done to the volume or equalization, will be heard in the Tower CT1 Bluetooth.

Sound equalizer

The device has two controllers at the rear by which you can equalize sound:

  • Mid and Treble adjustment.
  • Bass adjustment.

You can also select 1 of the 5 preset equalizers, by pressing the (EQ) remote control key:

  • EQ 0: Normal
  • EQ 1: Pop
  • EQ 2: Rock
  • EQ 3: Jazz
  • EQ 4: Classic
  • EQ 5: Country
  • EQ 5: Bass

Alarm clock

From your Tower CT1 Bluetooth you can see the time on the top panel and programme it to automatically turn on or off at a certain time. This way, you can use it as an alarm clock.

Time set

To set the time press the CLOCK button on your remote control and then hold down the PLAY/PAUSE button on the top panel, so the hour digits start flashing. At this moment, press the VOLUME + and VOLUME - buttons to change the time. To confirm the selected time, press again the PLAY/PAUSE button and you will be able to change the minute digits at the same time.

Switch off/on time set

Using the T-ON and T-OFF buttons on the remote control lets you set the switch on/off time.
To set the switch on time press the T-ON button, then enter the time you want using the number buttons on the remote control. Follow the same procedure to set the switch off when using the T-OFF button.
To keep the programme set you must switch the tower off from the ON/OFF () button on the top panel. The set will be lost if you put the rear switch off or disconnect the power cable of the tower.
When your Tower CT1 Bluetooth automatically switches on at the time set, it will start playing from the last mode, the last song or the last selected station and volume.

Remote control

With the Remote Control you can select all possibilities that the Tower CT1 Bluetooth offers you:

  • Switch ON/OFF
  • Select your mode (USB, SD, Line-in, Radio FM, Bluetooth) through the MODE button.
  • "Mute" function (not available in Bluetooth mode).
  • Volume control, Play/Pause, Next and Previous songs/FM stations (in all modes).
  • Equalization presets for USB and SD modes.
  • Manage your folders in the USB and SD memories with browse button.
  • Playback modes for the USB and SD memories with RPT button. For more info see the "SD and USB playback" section.
  • Numeric buttons to select your songs/stations with the number buttons.
  • Alarm clock control (T-ON, CLOCK and T-OFF buttons)

Warranty

Energy Sistem Technology, S.A. is liable for any lack of conformity which exists at the time the goods were purchased during a period of 36 months. Batteries are excluded from the 36-month warranty, having a warranty period of 12 months.

This warranty covers any defects in workmanship or materials. This warranty does not cover any failure of the product due to accidents, misuse or alteration made by an unauthorized person.

The special 36-months warranty is valid for the European Union. For other countries, please refer to the specific legislation or your local distributor.
