Main Functions

Adjusting DPI

Press DPI + (4) or DPI - (5) to adjust the mouse DPI (dots per inch).

Important: We recommend using the software to adjust the mouse DPI settings. This way, you will enjoy a customised experience.


Selecting a lighting effect

The Gaming Mouse ESG M2 Sonic features up to 6 different lighting effects. You can select any of them pressing the assigned buttons.To select the preferred lighting effect, press the Right button (2) while holding down the Back button (7).

Important: We recommend using the software to adjust the mouse lighting settings. This way, you will enjoy a customised experience.


Software

You can download the manual and software for your Gaming Mouse ESG M2 Sonic from our website https://www.energysistem.com/en/drivers to customise all features to your liking.

Important: The software is Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10 compatible.


Installation

Once the software has been downloaded, run the executable file "ESG M2" and follow the installation steps to install it.

After completing the installation, access the program to customise your Gaming Mouse ESG M2 Sonic to your liking. The following window appears by default:

Selecting a profile

There are 2 profiles available: "Profile 1" and "Profile 2". These profiles allow you to assign actions to the mouse buttons for a customised gaming experience. Make sure you have selected the correct profile before saving any changes, since all modifications will be saved to the currently selected profile.

Click on "Save profile" to save the profile to your PC. Click on "Load profile" if you prefer to load a previously saved profile.

Click on "Reset" to restore the default button settings.

Customising the buttons

Assign actions to the mouse buttons for a customised gaming experience. Take a look at the button numbers and assign the preferred action to each mouse button.

Advanced settings

Click on "Advanced" with your Gaming Mouse ESG M2 Sonic. You can customise other features in the window that will appear on screen:

Customising the sniper button

You can set the number of clicks and the interval between clicks to shoot in burst. This will make a difference when playing FPS games.

You can set up to three firing modes and assign each of them to any mouse button.

To do so, enter the number of clicks in the "Repeat" box. Enter the time interval between mouse clicks (in milliseconds) in the "Firing Interval" box.

Tick the "Continuous" box if you want the firing mode to be executed in a loop when pressing its assigned button.

After setting up the firing modes, you can assign any of them to the mouse button you prefer. Each mode will be assigned a number: "Mode1", "Mode2" and "Mode3". These modes can be found on the "special buttons" section.

DPI (dots per inch) settings

You can set up to 6 different DPI levels ranging from 200 to 6400 DPI, adjustable in 200 DPI increments. Choose the one that best suits your needs.

Move each DPI slider to set the desired DPI and assign a colour to each one to identify it. This will be very useful when adjusting DPI with the DPI + (4) or DPI - (5) buttons, as you will see the mouse lights flashing in the chosen colour.

Mouse settings

Adjust the mouse basic settings such as the movement speed, precision, double-click speed and scroll wheel speed to feel at ease when playing video games.

Polling rate settings

The Gaming Mouse ESG M2 Sonic allows you to adjust the preferred polling rate (the frequency at which the mouse reports its position to the computer) from 125 Hz (8 ms response time) to 1000 Hz (1 ms response time):

Choose one of the lighting effects of your Gaming Mouse ESG M2 Sonic to create the desired lighting atmosphere.

Macro settings

Assign a sequence of keystrokes or commands to the mouse buttons you prefer. To do so, click on "macro". The window below appears on screen:

Click on "New macro" to start creating your own sequence of keystrokes or commands. It will be added to the "Macro list" window. If you click with the right button on "Macro list", you will find macro rename, export and import options.

Before recording the macro, we recommend setting up the options below:

Real Time: Automatically inserts the actual delay between keystrokes.

Delay Time: Automatically inserts the same delay between keystrokes. To do so, enter the delay in ms.

No Delay: It doesn't add any delay between keystrokes.

Until the macro key released: After assigning the customised macro to a mouse button, the macro will run as long as you press and hold the assigned button. If you release the button, the action will stop.

Number of cycles (1-254): After assigning the customised macro to a mouse button, the macro will run in a loop as many times as you want (insert a number betwen 1 and 254).

Once you record the preferred combination of keys, you can easily modify any key. To do so, click on the preferred action with the right button. The following options appear on screen: "Edit", "Delete" and "Insert". Select the one you prefer and customise it to your liking.

Once you finish editing the macro, press "Add to mouse". The new macro will be saved to "Storage in Mouse". You can assign the macro to any mouse button on your profile.
