  • Crystal Sound: This flat EQ mode is recommended to stream music in high fidelity.

  • Deep Bass: This EQ mode enhances bass response.

The last selected mode is saved into the product?s internal memory. The speaker enables this mode when switching it on once again.

Charging the battery

The On/Off button (1) lights up red when the battery charge is below 10%. The button light starts flashing red when the battery level is below 5%. You will hear a warning sound from time to time.

Plug the provided power adapter cable into the Charging port (7) of your Music Box 9+. Connect the adapter to the power socket.

Press the On/Off button (1) and charging will start.

The Charge indicator (12) lights up red and switches off when fully charged. The charging time is approximately 2 and a half hours.

Important:

  • Use the provided power adapter.
  • Do not leave your Music Box 9+ completely discharged for a long time.

Bluetooth® connection

Press Change function (14) until you find Bluetooth mode while your Music Box 9+ is on. Once you have done this, press and hold the same button for 2 seconds until the "BT" LED function indicator (15) starts flashing. At this point, the speaker and smartphone or tablet can be paired.

Once "Music Box 9+" appears on your device screen, press "connect". Both devices will be connected immediately and without codes. You will hear a confirmation sound when both devices are synchronized and the "BT" LED function indicator (15) will stop flashing and glow as usual.

At this point, you will be able to start music playback on your smartphone or tablet. The Bluetooth wireless connection range is up to 20 metres.

Your Music Box 9+ will be automatically paired when you turn it on once again, provided that the Bluetooth connection is enabled on your smartphone or tablet.

To pair another Bluetooth device, press and hold the Change function (14) button until the "BT" LED function indicator (15) starts flashing. You will also hear a confirmation sound. By doing so, the current synchronization stops and the speaker starts a new search of Bluetooth® devices.

Note: Your Music Box 9+ will automatically turn off after 5 minutes, provided that Bluetooth mode is enabled and the speaker is not synchronized with any device.

Call control (hands-free function)

Pairing your Music Box 9+ with your smartphone via Bluetooth allows you to answer calls from the speaker.

When receiving a call, the song you are listening to stops and the ringing tone sounds instead. Press the Play/Pause and Call control button (4) to answer an incoming call and press it once again to hang up.

Press and hold the Play/Pause and Call control button (4) when receiving an incoming call to reject it. Press and hold the Play/Pause and Call control button (4) while Bluetooth mode is enabled to redial telephone numbers.

If you receive an incoming call while TWS mode is enabled, playback pauses and you will only hear the voice of the person who calls through the speaker connected to your smartphone.

Voice Assistant

Your Music Box 9+ allows you to activate your smartphone?s voice assistant, provided that both devices are paired via Bluetooth. You only have to press the On/Off (1) button twice in a row. This way you will directly activate your smartphone's assistant via wireless Bluetooth connection.

This function allows you to ask questions and use voice commands to perform tasks naturally and easily.

For more information, you can take a look at Google Assistant and Siri user guides, available on their manufacturers' official websites.

TWS (True Wireless Stereo)

This feature allows you to wirelessly connect another Music Box 9+ within a maximum distance range of 20 meters to increase power. This way you will create a stereo sound system with separate left and right channels. Please follow these steps to pair both speakers:

  1. Switch on one Music Box 9+ and pair it with your Bluetooth music player or smartphone. This is speaker A.

  2. Switch on the second Music Box 9+ and enable Bluetooth mode. This is speaker B.

  3. Press and hold Play/Pause and Call control (4) for 2 seconds on speaker A.

You will hear a confirmation sound when the pairing process is complete. From that moment on, both speakers will play the same content simultaneously. Press and hold once again the Play/Pause and Call control button (4) for 2 seconds on speaker A or B to disable TWS mode.

Audio input (AUX)

You can also play music on your Music Box 9+ by connecting your music player to the Audio-In (8) by means of the provided audio cable with 3.5 mm jack connector. This mode appears on one side and is indicated as "AUX".

NOTE:

  • It is not possible to control music playback from the speaker while using it in ?AUX? mode. To control playback functions you will have to use the connected music player.

  • The maximum volume depends directly on the power of the signal transmitted by the source device.

FM radio

Before using the FM radio function, it is necessary to carry out a search of all stations available. The radio stations will be saved to the speaker's internal memory. It is therefore not necessary to carry out a new search each time you switch on the speaker. You will only have to do this if you place the device in a new location or if you change the frequency of the saved radio station.

To carry out a search of all radio stations, press the Change function (14) button until the FM mode appears on screen. The FM LED function indicator (15) will light up when the radio function is selected. Once you have done this, press and hold the Change function (14) button for 2 seconds. The FM LED function indicator (15) flashes while carrying out the search. Once the process is complete, the LED will glow as usual. The process may take a few minutes.

You can use an audio cable with mini jack plug (not included) as an antenna cable to improve the signal. To do so, connect the above mentioned cable to the AUX port, return to FM mode and carry out a new seach of radio stations following the steps explained above.

Press Next (5) or Back (3) to select one station from all saved stations. Radio stations will appear in the order in which they were saved.

Note: The power adapter used to charge the device may interfere with the FM radio signal. We recommend maintaining a distance of 50 cm between the power adapter and the speaker if the FM radio function is enabled and you are charging the battery simultaneously.

Removable storage units (USB sticks/MicroSD cards)

Insert a removable USB stick or microSD card into the corresponding port or slot, (9) or (10), to play MP3 or WAV files. Your Music Box 9+ enables the corresponding playback mode automatically. Once the removable storage unit has been read, music playback will start. It will only take a few seconds. Do not remove the storage unit while the reading process is in progress.

If you turn off the Music Box 9+ while playing the files of the removable storage unit, the internal memory will save the point where you paused playback. If you connect the same removable storage unit once again, playback will resume from where you paused it.

To skip to the previous or next track, press Back (3) or Next (5). You can also go to the next folder of your microSD card / USB stick. To do so, press and hold the Change function (14) button for two seconds.

Press and hold Next (5) or Back (3) while the device is playing a song to fast-forward or rewind it. As soon as you release the button, playback will resume.

Note: We recommend not removing the removable storage unit while the reading process is in progress. Before doing that, please change mode or turn off the speaker.

Playback mode (continuous or shuffle)

Press and hold the Play/Pause and Call control (4) button for 2 seconds to enable one of the playback modes available (continuous or shuffle mode) while playing files from removable USB sticks and microSD cards.

The corresponding LED function indicator (15) flashes when in shuffle mode and glows permanently while continuous playback is enabled.
