Parental Controls

If your StreamGo is going to be used by a minor, we recommend that you install Google's Family Link app to set up a parental control system.

Preparation

Make sure you have the Google Family Link app installed on your device (the parent or guardian's device) from Google Play and log in with your Google account. The child's device, StreamGo, must be turned on and connected to the internet. If the child does not have a Google account, create one during the process.

Setup on the child's device (StreamGo)

In StreamGo, go to Settings > Google > All Services > Parental Controls and tap Let's Get Started.

Select or create the child's Google account, confirm supervision, and link it to your parent account by scanning a QR code or entering a 9-digit code that appears in your Family Link app.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup of the device; the child will be able to use it once it is finished.

Management from your parent/guardian device

Open Family Link, select the child, and set screen time limits, app approvals, location, and filters.

To add later: In StreamGo Settings, go to Passwords and Accounts > Add Account, sign in with the child's account, and verify from your app.

FAQ. Frequently asked questions

Can I install other applications besides those that come pre-installed?
Yes. The player has the Play Store app where, after logging in with your Google's account, you can download the applications you want. Please note that this product has been designed to run music streaming applications, so we cannot guarantee smooth operation when using other types of large applications such as games.

How can I force the player to restart?
Press and hold the side power button for 10 seconds and the product will restart.


Safety and maintenance

  • Do not expose the device to shock, dust, moisture or high temperatures.
  • Do not apply corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to the device.
  • Do not disassemble the device. Any repair must be carried out exclusively by qualified Energy Sistem Technology, S.A. personnel.
  • Be sure to keep the device switched off when not in use and do not leave it for a long period of time with the battery completely discharged.
  • Keep the device and its packaging out of the reach of children and pets to avoid possible accidents.
  • Do not use the device while driving a vehicle.


Prevention of hearing loss

Listening to music at high volume levels for long periods of time can cause permanent hearing damage. To avoid hearing damage, we recommend turning down the volume of the player before starting music playback and then gradually increasing the volume to a comfortable, moderate listening level.
